WPS issue

I have just recei ved a new modem and am trying to reconnect my security cameras. I received instructions from the seccurity company to press the WPS button on my modem and then press the connection button on the camera but they wont connect. I noted that nothing lights up on the modem when I press the WPS button.

You may have to login to the router admin and enable WPS function. Probably in Wireless settings.

Hi David,

I found out how to log into the router at 192.168.1.1 however i typed in the username "admin" but could not log in with the password "admin", "password" or "1234" as advised. I then exceeded five log in attempts and could not try again for a while.

@colin060651. Have you tried the Default Password on the router's label?

Success! I got into the modm and the WPS was turned off. Hopefully i can connect the cameras now
