I want to use an Archer Vr900 modem router with my NBN but I also have a home phone I need to connect, can I do this?
Hi @MacMag,
We've checked the modem router that you have and it is a VDSL2 modem which could work with your NBN FTTC technology. You need to make sure that the settings needed is correct for the internet to work.
However, when using a third party device, the home phone will not work as the settings for the VoIP phone is embedded in the firmware of the modem that we provide.
Should you require further assistance, please let us know.
Kind regards,
BasilDV
You can configure the VR900 as a wireless router / wireless access point together with the TPG suplied equipment
It should be easy and simple

Wondering if you were able to successfully get home phone to work with your VR900 and NBN as I have the same issue?
