modem TP-Link Archer VR1600v randomly drops out and reboots

Hello,

 

There seem to be a fault with my TP-Link Archer VR1600v modem. Over the last 9 months it appears to overheat and then drops connection which was fixable by turning off the unit and rebooting it, however the last 6 or so weeks the unit drops connection and reboots itself constantly. I've tried a factory reset but it hasn't made a difference. I've had the modem provided by TPG since about April 2020.

 

Please help.
