port 44158 on HG659

Having trouble opening this port on this model, have tried to follow tutorials online but they are not for this exact model so the interface is all different and it didn't work.

Hi @qs312 . Port forwarding rules are generally the same.

The rule relates an external port number (44158) to a port number (usually the same number) and local ip address (fixed ip address so the rule always finds the device).

When the app is running, check that the port is "Listening":

netstat -an

Use a port scanning tool in the internet to check the port is open.
