Cant connect to internet NEW CONNECTION

Router has just been delivered along with the other box, plugged everything in and followed instructions but cannot get the DSL light to do anything. 


Spent 40 mins on hold to talk to someone, to instantly be told she would transfer me to someone else, another 40 minute wait, still going. Is this a joke? How do i actually talk to someone.


Great first impression.


Is there a way to actually talk to a human who wont just transfer me.

Ive now been transferred to the wrong team and have been put on hold again, another 30 minute wait ahead of me.
