Internet still not connected

I have been waiting over a month for my internet to be connected. I finally received my nbn box and a message to say my internet is waiting to be activated and to plug my equipment in. Do I now have to wait for the activation cause I still don’t have internet?

Thanks for your PM. Can you please confirm your modem/router and NBN NCD is connected like the image below and powered on at the moment?
