I have a new TPG account with FTTN service. My original TPG-supplied modem had a fault in its power supply, but I was able to achieve 47-48 Mbps download speeds, which is about the maximum achievable in my area. After TPG replaced the faulty modem with an identical model, I can only achieve 44-45 Mbps download speeds. Whilst the drop in performance is small, I would not have thought that the difference between identical modems would be so great. Is there anything I can do to perhaps tweak a couple more Mbps out of the new modem, which appears to have no other power supply faults.
