NBN installation and ADSL service

chrispjay

I have an installation appointment booked for FTTC. I was wondering if my ADSL will continue to work for at least the remainder of the day, and whether or not my connection is likely to be interrupted during the NBN installation work. This is important to know as my flatmate is working from home and I would like to ensure minimal interruption to them if I can.

Hi chrispjay,

Unfortunately yes, your internet service will be disconnected when NBN FTTC is in place.

You also will need to disconnect your current ADSL device from the socket and install the NTC (white NBN box) plus the TPG modem.
