NBN modem and TPG router

Hello Guys,

I've got an NBN modem for which TPG supplied a WiFi router. Is it possible to have single device instead of two for WiFi to work ? I just want to minimise the clutter as currently both the devices need power socket (obvio) and then the NBN modem connect to the router via LAN cable. Too many cables next to the TV.

Appreciate your help with suggestions.

Cheers.

Hi @samp . The NBN box by itself would allow one ethernet computer to connect to the internet. With the router, multiple ethernet devices and wifi devices can share the internet connection.

Regarding the cables, just keep them coiled up so they look tidy.
