NBN tel no porting & NBN install delay

I continue to receive SMS messages about connecting my NBN Modem but as I am waiting to have tel no ported my NBN service connection has not been done.

Is there a date from which Telstra will recomence tel number porting AND whilst this is delaying switch over to NBN can SMS messaging be stopped until my NBN line is installed please.
