I placed an order yesterday for NBN, The modem is on it's way. I already have an NBN connection on my property however beleive it is fault and will need an NBN connect to come out and restore the service. What do i need to do to organise an NBN technician?

As discussed on the phone, once TPG advise that the service has been connected and there is still an issue, TPG will engage NBN on your behalf.
