New NBN connection

I am planning on joining tpg nbn from another ISP's ADSL connection and am wondering if tpg will handle the closing of the competitors connection? Or do I have to do that myself?

By submitting an application through the TPG website or via a member of our sales team, TPG will arrange the transfer of the service on your behalf.

Once your service is active, we recommend that you contact your provider to ensure that your account is finalised. You may also send your service address via private message so we can check which NBN service is available in your area.
