No NCD provided for FTTC

Hi,

I sign for a NBN FTTC plan to my house, recently the modem has been delivered but not coming with the NCD. should I make appointment to get it? I tried to call the support but the wait is too long, and when i get the call back I'm still at work so can't pick up the phone.
