Payment verification delay

My current installation status says payment is being processed. A search for questions with the same issue show that this process usually takes 3-4 business days. I’ve had the same “payment being processed” screen for nearly two weeks. Any reason for the delay?

Please note, we’ve had the worst possible ADSL2 speeds since we moved into the house we’re currently at. I realise we’re as far away from the exchange as you can get, but getting 2 Mbps maximum at off peak time is starting to wear a bit thin.
