Porting taking a long time

Hi I have initiated a number transfer and have been waiting for 3 days is it supposed to take that long to transfer?

Hi @Flynn, 

For landline port-in request, the porting should be completed within 1-5 working days. 

For mobile services, your Old SIM should still work until the activation gets completed. The activation of a Ported in Number takes approximately 3 hours after entering the pre-port authorization code which will be sent to your old SIM. Most of the timing has dependency on the MNP Hours of Operation:

  • 8AM-8PM AET (Monday - Friday)
  • 10AM-6PM AET (Saturdays)
