Unsure about installation appointment

Hello, i have signed up for tpg nbn fttn50 plan, i have recieved a message saying that a technician is required to come to my house & that i need to be home. Does this mean that something will have to be installed inside or outside my house? I am a renter so i need to know what will be installed (if anything) so i can let my landlord know.

We have located the account using your community details.

 

As per checking, an appointment for an NBN technician has been booked as they need to connect the service up to the node.

 

Further testing may be required and they may need to have an access to your first telephone socket, thus you were advised to be at home during the installation.

 

No additional equipment will be installed as you will only connect the TPG supplied modem to your first telephone socket.
