When to disconnect existing naked DSL

Hi I am scheduled to have NBN (HFC) installed Friday 16 aug. when should I contact my existing naked DSL provider to cancel the connection to minimise paying for two services a year the same time but still ensure I am not left in between disconnection and NBN activation without internet access?

To avoid unwanted charges we highly recommend to contact your ISP to disconnect the service once the NBN service is installed and tested working. Let us know should you require further assistance.
