I have tried to connect my new TPG modem and NBN box to my wall socket. The 3 blue lights come on OK. BUT the wifi doesn’t light up at all.
How do I check that the NBN in the street outside has been connected properly?
My existing Netgear modem (2 ADSL) works quite ok when I had it hooked up!
Please call me on 0429921251. 😊

Hi @geoffplatham

I can see your NBN-FTTC 12/1 order is progressing.

There is a self-install component to this.

You will need to unplug ALL existing phones and modem from your sockets, and setup the new NBN cpe.

Getting 3x solid lights is good.

Once you have 3x solid lights, connect your modem to the NCD and if things go well, it will self authenticate the modem within an hour or so. This should give you 4x solid lights on the NCD + WAN, internet light on the modem if it is a TPG modem.

You may check the setup guide that we've created for NBN FTTC here.
