12GB Complimentary mobile data plan upgrade not updating

Last month I received a text from TPG saying that I will receive a complimentary free upgrade from my usual 8GB data plan to 12GB per month starting 16/8/2021. Its been a day now and there still hasn't been an update to the extra amount of data promised. I have been checking my data usage through the TPG app on my phone, but it is still unchanged from the included 8000MB. Is there any other way I can check confirmation of the extra data being included in my monthly usage? Thank you
