There would be instances when we would need to replace our smart phones. Broken, outdated, not fast enough, there are a lot of possibilities.
Let's say you've bought a new phone, and now you would need to move your old phone contacts to your new handset.
How would you do it?
One easy way is to copy the numbers saved on your phone to your sim card so you can then transfer it to your new phone.
To help you with this, check out the easy steps below on how to move your contacts list:
For Android Phones:
Go to Contacts.
Look for Menu/Settings/More option.
Press Import/Export Contacts
To copy contacts from phone to SIM
Select Export
- Make sure you choose to copy all contacts to successfully transfer all numbers saved on the SIM
To copy contacts from SIM to phone
Make sure you choose to copy all contacts to successfully transfer all numbers saved on the phone
For iPhones:
- To Transfer contacts from SIM to Phone:
- Go to Settings
- Press Contacts
- Choose Import SIM Contacts
Note: All contact numbers you save on your iPhone are automatically saved on the phones memory
