International roaming problem

I’m in Vietnam and trying to do some online banking. To complete the transactions my bank sends a security code via sms but I’m not receiving them. Why?
I can receive sms from private numbers in Australia but not from my bank or credit cards.

I found the solution. I have an iPhone 11 and went into settings>>mobile>>network selection.
It was on ‘automatic’ setting so I clicked that off and a menu of local telecom providers popped up. I just kept choosing one until bars appeared at the top of the screen.

Problem was with my phone settings. Not TPG. Don’t rely on ‘automatic’ setting in your network selection on your phone!!
