Mobile cannot connect to tower in Qld 4128

I can not connect to mobile tower in my home or outside,I live in area QLD 4128  Logan Shailer park its considered urban .

Inside my house it connects to wifi moent i cross the road or go outside in my yard it cannot connect and the phone starts to heat up,after 15 min accross the road it has used 40% of its battery power . while Not making any calls!

What am I doing wrong and how can i get mobile service outside my house ?
