Replacement SIM - did TPG cancel my call forwarding?

I am overseas and had TPG number forwarded to a Vodafone, which was working. Due to faulty TPG SIM I have now also had to order a replacement SIM for when I return to Australia. But my call forwarding from TPG seems to have stopped working. Is this due to SIM replacement order?
