excessive cancellation charges

I cancelled mobile service as of Jan 1 ... I got charged the $20 monthly for period Jan 5 to Feb 6, and now an additional $11 for no clear reason (invoice just says "Mobile"). Can anyone explain the charges for periods beyond cancellation date?

Have you ported out your number? Please note that we charge 7 days in advance before the end of your paid cycle.
