text I received from tpg about nbn

Hi there, I received a text supposedly from tpg about my nbn connection just being connected. I was connected about 5 years ago, is this a scam?

Certainly sounding like a scam unless you requested for any account modification.  Nonetheless, we sure want to still check the SMS you received. 

Any chance you can PM us with your Customer ID or username so we can also check the status of your service?

We're able to locate the service and confirm that the SMS is nothing to do with the account, we suggest to ignore this as it is a possible scam.
