unable to make calls

hi Im unable to make a call. unable to send text message. I can recieve call fine. I have logged into my tpg account and can see no issues with payments. All look fine. I cannot call support because i only have a mobile and i dont have anyones phone i can borrow.

I get this auto response. your account balance is insufficeient to make this call. please check your balance online by loggin in our website or contact our support team for assistance.

I've managed to locate your account and recent update indicated that this issue has been raised to our Mobile Support Team. 


Updates will be provided via phone call or SMS.

Level 2

I cant make calls on my mobile or send text messages . I have called support twice and was told that there is a new system. I have a 92 year old mother and it is essential I am able to contact her. This is of the hightest importance but the problem has not been solved.

For your reference, please try to follow these steps: 

From the home screen, tap and drag the Notifications bar downwards.

  1. Tap the Settings icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap More networks.
  3. Tap Mobile networks.
  4. Tap Network operators.
  5. If prompted tap OK.
  6. Tap the required [Vodaphone] network.


If the issue persists, let us have your TPG mobile number via PM or Customer ID in order for us to assist you further.
