Lag spikes

I constantly get lag spikes, which usually make me lag out of my video games. It is really frustrating, since the lag spikes usually make my internet speeds go down to 2-5 mbps, when I am really paying for 50 mbps speed. There are no devices using the internet too much just my gaming console. I have even had a technician come to my house to fix it, but this issue still isn't resolved. Someone please help me overcome this issue.

Hi @muskaan1981 . Do you know the hostnames or ip addresses of the game servers?

Do   ping   and   tracert   commands to the game servers when you have normal response times and when you have slowdowns. Do the TPG speedtest as well.

I do speedtests when there are lagspikes occuring. The speed goes from 50 mbps to 2 mbps. It is really frustrating.
