Outlook 2019 suddenly not sending emails

Have been using Outlook 2019 (and older versions for years), but suddnely now getting this error message, no change was done at my end to the server/account setup.

Error Message:
 Sending' reported error (0x800CCC1A) : 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance.'

Any ideas?  I have tried changing port numbers in the server settings but no help.
