Substandard TPG/NBN service

I've emailed you as a dissatisfied TPG/NBN customer. I'm paying $69.99 a month to TPG for your NBN 50 plan which promised average nightly speeds of 48Mbps but lately it has been abysmal.

This morning, between 5am and 6am, I did speed tests on both my mobile phone and laptop and the results were:
Mobile: download 8.8Mbps, upload 11 Mbps.
Laptop: download 6.3 Mbps, upload 4.2 Mbps.
These tests were conducted with only an internal gyprock wall between myself and the 'boxes' provided by TPG.
I then went into my garage and stood next to the modem etc and the speed test  on my mobile was: download 11.9 Mbps, upload 4.0 Mbps.
I went with TPG because I believed the company provided the best NBN service for this area but the only words to describe it lately are 'appalling and substandard'. 
I'm not happy and I keep asking myself  'am I being ripped off?'

Thanks for raising this to us, we're sad to know that you're having issues with the speed of the service. Based on the given details I assumed that all the devices affected with the issue are connected via Wi-Fi. Devices connected by Wi-Fi may experience slower speeds than those connected by Ethernet cable, for testing purposes and to identify the actual speed of the service please run a speed test using the laptop connected via LAN/Ethernet cable and post the screenshot on this thread.
