I've emailed you as a dissatisfied TPG/NBN customer. I'm paying $69.99 a month to TPG for your NBN 50 plan which promised average nightly speeds of 48Mbps but lately it has been abysmal. This morning, between 5am and 6am, I did speed tests on both my mobile phone and laptop and the results were: Mobile: download 8.8Mbps, upload 11 Mbps. Laptop: download 6.3 Mbps, upload 4.2 Mbps. These tests were conducted with only an internal gyprock wall between myself and the 'boxes' provided by TPG. I then went into my garage and stood next to the modem etc and the speed test on my mobile was: download 11.9 Mbps, upload 4.0 Mbps. I went with TPG because I believed the company provided the best NBN service for this area but the only words to describe it lately are 'appalling and substandard'. I'm not happy and I keep asking myself 'am I being ripped off?'
