TP link Archer 1600 modem is overheating and going yellow, need a replacement fast!

Hi our TP Link VR1600v modem is hot and going yellow so I'd like to get a replacement. Can TPG supply, this modem is out of warranty. Is this still the current Modem TPG uses or is there another more modern type e.g. TP-Link VX420-G2V? 

Please advise how to go about it.
