Internet light is off

Been using FTTB fine and had internet when I left home today but when I came back there was no internet and the internet light on the router is off. Tried restart router, unplug and plug cables back in, and tried plug dsl cable to another telephone socket.. nothing works... tried chat function and was told they weren’t picking up any phone signal either... Chat support said they will escalate it... no internet Smiley Sad

Tried calling and holding and waiting and got told I will get a call back. Never happened..
