Modem to work with Google Nest

Hi,
I’ve been using my Google Nest Wi-Fi with the standard router given by TPG for over 2 years now (in bridge mode). Over the last 6 months we’ve seen lots of frequent drop outs and we’ve often have to restart modem for wifi to work on all the devices again. It drops in and out all day long. I’ve previously contacted TPG about it and it would go nowhere because they would say it’s working again etc, but drop outs still happen eventually.
Now I’m thinking I need to replace the router with a basic modem to simplify things to work with Google mesh. Any recommendations for a modem to work with TPG FTTB and Google Nest wifi?

We do not recommend specific make and model of a modem but any VDSL2+ modem will work with TPG FTTB however VoIP feature will only work using our supplied modem.
