Hi TPG tech, My connection will be change from FTTC to FTTP this Wed. The current setting on the WAN interface of FTTC is PPPoE with VLAN id:2. From TPG document for FTTP, no vlan id need in the configuration. I want to confirm if that is correct? I am not using TPG modem. Thank you for confirm Regards, Vinh

Hi TPG The TPG NBN router is randomly drop off the network. It is not constantly but it happens every 3-4 weeks after restart the router. How do i know this. I can’t access the Internet, then i log in the router, the Ewan interface is still showing the TPG public IP address. To solve this issue I have to restart the TPG router. So could you tell me why it happens? Do my router need firmware update?

Hi TPG I just received TPG router TP-link Archer VR1600v2 with the firmware version 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 190228 Rel.72265n and the hardware version is Archer VR1600v v2 00000000 Could you please confirm this router is running the latest firmware. If not I would like to request firmware update for this router please. Thank you

Hi TPG I got connect to NBN FTTC today (15/01/2020) and I am testing the Internet speed on the TPG server and I get 6.7 Mbps download and the upload is 18.7 Mbps. The test is around 9:30 PM. Could you tell me is it TPG server or NBN network slow? find attached screenshot.

Hi TPG I am noticed that TPG is charging me for the NCD and modem shipping however I did not receive any tracking detail? Normally it should be send email same day as email of NBN installation confirm. Could you please find out and let me know. Thank you.

Hi @Shane I want to blow away the TPG customised and restore the original TP-Link Archer VR1600v firmware, can i do that if so tell me the detail. can you explain backup and restore feature that cause any security issue? or you guy to lazy to help customer to configure their router?

Hi @Riezl Thank you for the information and that information is for FTTN and FTTB. But my NBN technology is FTTC, can i use the same method but on the Ewan port? Thank you

Hi @Riezl I think this router was use in NBN FTTB. The Mac address is 7C-8B-CA-FB-D2-2A Serial is 3181077001027 Model: Archer VR1600v

My friend give me his TPG Archer VR1600v NBN Modem Router as he no longer need it. I want to know can i use that Modem router for my NBN (FTTC) when my area NBN ready. Currently I am use it for ADSL. Thank you
