Hi - I've just built a new house and am getting it connected to a FTTC NBN plan.   We've not installed a phone line to the house, however we've run conduit from the electricity pole to the house in anticipation of bringing the NBN connection to the house.   I called the TPG service desk to advise that we didn't have a phone socket to pulg the NBN Connection Device into, and have been told that we need to have a phone line installed for the NBN to work.
