To everyone who is trying to get their account cancelled and are finding it impossible to get past the online "bot" generated "support", lodge a complaint with the TIO https://www.tio.com.au/making-a-complaint. TPG has a dedicated TIO complaints handler. Provide as much information as possible, and the TIO will contact TPG to get it resolved.

Agree 100%. TPG need to realise that it is not just here that people are taking about their negative experience with TPG and I'm sure that these comments will result in fewer people signing up with TPG - who would want to sign up to a no lock in contract only to discover that they're locked in simply because TPG fail to respond to cancelation requests. Hopefully TPG will lift their game and get the line managers and those that made the decision to offshore the support to the cheapest tender onto the phones to provide actual support to their cutomers.

On the 23rd, I wasted a whole day attempting to deal with your "live" chat. The first 3 hours was waiting in the queue only to have the chat close by R.J without comment. Then there was another 2 hours waiting in the queue again, when I finally got through to someone (or a bot) I was told to email the cancel@tpg.com.au address and someone would get in contact with me. I was also offered to speak with someone more senior. I said that would be a good idea, but after about 2 more hours of waiting, the chat was close. SERIOUSLY THIS IS A JOKE! I have sent 3 emails to cancel@tpg.com.au and apart from the automated responses I have receieved NOTHING. PM me so I can actually talk to someone who is able to ACTUALLY SUPPORT A CUSTOMER.
