Tobethehero Uni-D 1 light cannot go red. If the opical light is red it's a fault or outage. If the uni-d light is not lit and the light from the optical can be seen then refer to my comment above Uni D lights turn green or amber based on the Ethernet connection you connect. Green 10/100 and Amber is GigE 100/1000.
