We have been having issues with our TPG HFC NBN for the past 4-5 days. This past Sat-Sun were supposed to have been a maintenance outage but it never happened and since then we have been having intermittant internet. And the speed goes very high to slow as snail and then dead.  Does anyone else from our area (2076) have the same issue? There is no NBN outage at the moment.(or is there and they are not posting it!!)  Can anyone from TPG help here???   ... View more

Hi all. I have seen the TPG moderator's coments on how to bridge TP LinkArcher VR1600 to NetGear Night Hawk. But I don't have the NetGear, I have the Asus DSL-AC68u and it is much more powerful in its wireless capabilities than the Tplink in this house we live in. My Asus was already setup to route Optus's Cable connection (we are disconnecting that now that we have NBN) and one of the LAN ports (port4) is now a WAN port. What I couldn't figure out are: How to configure the Asus? I have connected the LAN on Tp-Link to the LAN on ASUS..... I get ** fast internet for sure, but I like the Asus to be my wireless router  in the part of the house that has black spot or poor connection. I can't figure out what I am supposed to do when attaching the cables (as explained in the NetGear way) What is the difference between bridging it or making the Asus the Point of Acsess? Which one is faster? If I am to to the Point of Access road....how do I then configure the Asus?  Thanks ... View more

Hi Our internet for the past 4 weeks has been intermittently on and off and spikes really high. At times my son who plays LOL has seen a ping of 1000 and then everything just drops and no internet. NBN is moving onto our street two blocks away and we have had this problem since they started digging. Can you help?  ... View more
