This won't help much, but I was waiting on the phone for exactly 2 hours to speak with TPG when I was simply disconnected and ended up with the busy tone.

Ever since my telephone has been connected to my new NBN service, I can not hear the other end at the begin when they answer their telephone with HELLO or whatever.
