Is there any battery back up / UPS on TPG's FTTB equipment installed in the comms room for an apartment building? Not the equipment in my apartment - I understand that will stop work without power - I mean the FTTB equipment for the building.   Today there was maintenance work being done on the fire system in my apartment complex and, as part of that, the power was switched off to part of the carpark. Power was still working in my apartment and the rest of the complex during this time. While the carpark was without power, my TPG FTTB connection was lost, meaning any battery back up on the equipment failed and I should notify TPG (if there is any power back up).
