HI I am getting messages from my antivirus software, saying my modem (archer vr1600 v) has an open port facing the internet, and that this is a security risk. not sure if i should be concerned, if so, how do i fix. i have attatched a jpeg of the message. thanx!

basically yes. i was able to access the page to change my modem password. i then rebooted the modem from the page settings,and somehow it went back to the default password, now i cannot get into the page at all

Hi there I cannot access my hosting page to see my modem settings, just gettin 403 forbidden message. have cleared my chache, done system restore-everything, to no avail. I have run out of options. Any suggestions? Thanx

modem is archer VR1600v. it gives a vunerability ID: HNS-WAN-ACCESS probably no biggie. i am just curious more than anything

Good morning all. My avaast software tells me that my modem is not secure and is accessible from the internet and has an open port facing the internet. how can i resolve this in the modem admin page. thanks!
