Bought a NETGEAR Nighthawk D7800 but when I connect the dsl it says no DSL/Ethernet connection detected. The firmware on the modem is the latest (1.0.1.56) When I plug the old Huawei modem in the internet does work (using the same cables so confirmed connection is ok) Have tried turning on and off etc. Do I need to register the modem MAC address?
