Thanks David. Yes, FTTN. So I have to set the archer 1600v into bridge mode for this to work? I can’t just leave profile as is and turn off its wifi?

Thanks Ahra. So I don’t need to put the archer in bridge mode? There are other articles saying it should be put in bridge mode in order to connect a separate router?

Hi, I’m going to set up a tplink deco m5 mesh network, using the supplied archer 1600v as the modem. Can I just turn off the wifi on the 1600v? Or do I have to set it to bridge mode? Thank you!

PLease help - just purchased Netgear Orbi RBR50 AC3000 mesh systrem with router and 1 satellite. Completed set up, all was fine until it came time at the end to conenct to the internet - and it wont. Have tried most things I can find online to fix, but in the end reset all the settings on the Archer vr1600v as well as the Orbi and tried again - at the least in factory mode for both Archer modem/router and Orbi router it shold set up a new network (which it does - can find the netwrok and login to the Orbi's interface), but it wont connect to the internet. I am using the Archer vr1600v as the modem and have plugged the Orbi into the Archer. Any suggestions here? Thanks!
