NBN outage in Isaacs ACT since 9:30 this morning.  Technician in the street accessing a Telstra pit at that time but no obvious work being done now (1:40 pm).  NBN website indicates NO outage at our address.   Any information on restoring the service would be appreciated. ... View more

Although not affected by floods in Canberra the wet weather typical results in slower nbn speeds.  For the last few weeks my NBN 50 plan hasn't delivered much about 10Mbps and today about 2-3 Mbps.  The usual speed would be 35-40Mbps.   Is there any way to have the line tested to confirm the problem? ... Two issues   1.  Typically I was getting 35 - 40 Mbps until the last two weeks where speeds have been 10 -15 Mbps and there have been frequent dropouts that usually last 1-2 minutes but occasionally a little longer.  There is no reported NBN FTN issues for my Canberra location. I have reset the Huawei modem/router several times but to no avail.   2.  On several apple devices I have warning messages that my wifi connection has weak security.  The recommended setting is WPA3.  My modem/router doesn't support this standard.  Is the solution a new modem/router? ... Over the last week or so the internet connection drops out.  The admin interface still shows an active connection but access is still not available.  Sometimes a PPPoE restart will solve the problem otherwise it requires a full reboot.  Connected through TPG/NBN but neigbour has same provider (but different modem) and has not experienced any issues.
