Hi David64,   Disconnected the switch today and directly connected WIN 7 desktop to the router. Speedtests only show tiny improvement, WIN 7 PC hits 80Mbps Download and 25Mbps upload speed when patched into the VR1600V router. Difference compared to WIN 10 HPZ440 pc is still a mystery. ... I have a home hardwired LAN. I accepted the new Ultrafast TPG offer $99.99 for a $149 plan, activated 30 Aug 21. My WIN 10 desktop machine consistently shows speedtest of Download 305Mbps & Upload 35Mbps. My WIN 7 desktop linked via a Linksys SD205 switch shows 71Mbps Download and 25Mbps upload. The switch is rated up to 200Mbps per port. Is the difference due to the switch? ... View more
