We recently switched from Telstra to TPG to provide us ADSL2 broadband internet.   While with Telstra, we were experiencing download speeds of ~6.00 Mbps. Since we joined TPG last week on a similar plan, our download struggles to get about 1.00Mbps.   I understand TPG rents a lot of their network from Telstra.
