That’s a fairly poor response basically your saying we know these routers are garbage but since we bought a whole bunch of them we’re stuck with them now so you’ll just have to suffer. Bad luck. There’s been solutions offered to other users of this router such as the beta firmware solution I don’t care about the VOIP service I would ask again that you contact tp-link and get this firmware for me you can disable my voip service I don’t need it.

Hi I have an issue with my Archer VR1600v2 the NAS can only transfer a file size of 2gb or lower. This is the issue from this post https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/Modems-and-Devices/2GB-file-size-limit-on-Archer-VR1600v-v2/td-p/83798 and this post https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/Modems-and-Devices/Archer-VR1600v-Ver-2-0-shared-usb-files-gt-2GB/td-p/94118 So I would kindly ask can you please provide the fix or provide me with a different router please.

‎02-09-2021 07:19 PM Due to the silence from the TPG tech here, I contacted TP-Link directly and have some very good news. They got me to try a beta firmware update they are working on to see if that fixed the issue and it did! No more 2GB limit. Can you email me this firmware or post a link here to it? thanks

I have exactly this same issue either fix the problem or give me another router that doesn't have the issue this is not acceptable.

Hello TPG Team, We have TPG FTTB connection for some years now but recently NBN co. came and installed fibre to the premise now we have both connections in the building. Over time the FTTB connection has become less and less reliable especially when it rains what we would like to do is switch over to the FTP connection now. What I am wondering is what the process to do this would be? preferably we would like to have the FTP connection running before turning off the FTTB connection also would there be any costs involved with switching across? Thanks M
