I too would like to update my Archer VR1699v V2 modem It currently says  Firmware is  0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 200810 Rel.53181n and hardware Archer VR1600v v2 00000000 I assumed I could just get an update file and point the modem at it, but I've searched everywhere to no avail, and I have the impression from some of the answers herein that you do it remotely?
