Thanks Majanzo.   Your message has reminded me we also have Arlo security cameras on the network. The base station gets an IP from our Archer router, but it has it's own wifi (and DHCP, I presume) which the cameras connect to. It is effectively a black box that I can't configure. That is the only device I can think of that might be assigning IP address which conflict.   So I have tried changing the IP address range for my Archer router to see if that removes the conflicting addresses and resulting issue. I have been experiencing this exact same issue for the last 3+ years. In that time I've had multiple calls to the helpdesk, various workarounds, a replacement Archer and nothing seems to have resolved the issue.    My router details are: Firmware Version:0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 200810 Rel.53181n Hardware Version:Archer VR1600v v2 00000000   Note I do not have any other DHCP server on our network.
