Hello,   I received the modem this morning, thank you for the fast dispatch. Internet is working fine, both WI FI and LAN so I am happy with that.   However, my phone is not working. There is a connection between ph and the router and there is a normal open signal, but when I tried to call there is just one long high pitch sound after the number is dialled. Logging on the router website and checking settings show that my phone account settings are not there. Can you please check it and enter the specifications for my phone account.   Email to techops about this issue has been forwarded with the sill open ticket reference. Thanks Ahra, I have spoken to the technician, was promised a new modem to be sent next week, the same model as the old one. Can you please double check that all ports on the new one work, especially LAN ports. I had a LAN connection problem with the old router. Hi, Just got the message from TPG stating that NBN advised you that issue has been resolved. That is not the case as there is still the same problem, NBN box upstream flashing, no Internet and no phone. However this early morning someone was around checking the main board, probably the senior technician. He said they will send another person to fix it but not sure when. I would appreciate if you can get back to them again and speed up the resolution. It seems there are other problems in this area so they may be busy.... so please remind them again. I was contacted by a your tech support person saying the problem has been forwarded to NBNco, so now is up to wait and see whether technician will have to come or it can be solved remotely. I have a feeling the NBN modem was affected by power surge due to sudden severe electric discharge due to the storm.   Regards ... View more

Hi Will, Wi-Fi tested both 2.4 and 5G and it's excellent. Laptop about 2 metres from modem. Speed test was 47/19 a few min ago. Will see how it goes further away in another room, but so far I am very happy with everything, installation and the performance. If any issue I will post here,   I got the sms and email saying you can't locate me online. I've been online for more than 1h, updating both PCs. Hi Will,   I was connected about an hour ago. Now I have connected my desktop with the LAN port and is working well. LAN port 2 & 3 didn’t acknowledge connection, then I’ve tried port 1 and it’s working. I have updated and restarted my PC and it’s all good. Have yet to try Wi-Fi. So far so good. This problem has been solved simply by my unplugging the NBN box from power outlet overninght. As soon as I plugged it in this morning all the lights came speedily on. So NBN connection seems to be ok, it needed only to be reset. Sometimes simple things as this can solve a problem. However, I would like to hear from some of your technitians where in the installation/connection process am I and what is going on with it.
